South East Europe as a meeting destination in economic crisis?

My company consolidates congress capacities and service suppliers for the region of South East Europe (more specific Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Bulgaria etc.). Our main aim is development this region as a meeting destination. For now on, we have consolidated and checked about 200 suppliers from the region via internet portals www.SEEmice.net and www.kongresniturizam.com - for the language of the region, and trough first printed guide-catalogue for meeting industry SEEmice.
We are continuously working on increasing level of quality and quantity of our service, specialized for this market and knowledge about meeting industry and event planning.
I am interesting your opinion, as a meeting and event professionals, attractiveness of this region for doing events?
