- Can the system cope with complex registration requirements?
- Can the system be customised in how it works as well as how it looks?
- Are you able to issue promotional discount codes through the system?

Who designs and builds your event’s registration system?

- Do you have to build the entire system yourself, or is the system built for you?
- How easy is it to make changes after the system has launched?
- Are you just given a log-in and left to get on with it?

Will the system genuinely increase your efficiency?

- Will it automate the key stages of the delegate registration processes?
- Will it reduce the need for manual data entry and handling?
- Will it provide you with detailed reports to let you know how your event is progressing?

How are payments to your event handled?

- Does the money go straight to your account, or does it go to the system provider?
- Are you restricted to using certain card processing companies (like WorldPay or PayPal), or can you use any online merchant processor or bank?
- Do you get charged transaction fees for any payments made through the system?

Are there any hidden fees and charges?

- Is there an annual licence fee for using the system?
- Is there a maximum number of users you can have?
- Are there any support costs?

How is the system supported?

- Is the system fully supported for as long as you use it?
- Is there a time limit on the amount of support you receive?
- Are you going to be charged for any of the support or training you require?

What about data security?

- Who owns the data and who has the rights to use it?
- Is your event’s database linked to anyone elses in anyway? Is any data common across events / clients?
- Are all booking pages encrypted on secure pages?

How is the system hosted?

- Is the hosting reliable and secure?
- Is it monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week?
- Is your data backed up?
