Charity Giving

I was pleased to read recently, the Americans have been placed at the top of the list for giving to charity, followed by Great Britain. I am not sure where this trend originally started or when the stats were originally kept up with.

I am fortunate to be able to supply time myself to one of our industry events here in America. As we are such a tight group in the Tradeshow community, it may be one of the few industries to have so many competitors come together to fight for the right cause. To reduce the financial and emotional suffering of our colleagues in dire times of need.

If you are unaware of the event called The Randy Smith Memorial Golf Classic, it has grown from a local Atlanta event to the many events across America that fall under its umbrella.

Take a moment out of your busy day. Check out the site, www.rsmgc.org to find out how you can help. If you read through the website, you may see there is also a chance for you to help someone you know as well. We all have tradgedy in our lives once in a while, or, our friends do from time to time.

It is great to know this many people stand ready to assist each year and many that attend or donate, call it the most important thing they do as a person each year. Donations are fully tax deductible. Make a difference in your life! Feel good as I do each year, by making a difference in someone elses life. If you are outside of America, start your own event soon.
