Fifty years ago today, Kallman Associates (KA) hung out its shingle as a full service public relations agency, serving local, national and international clients. Jerry Kallman Sr., left the PR Manager post at ITT International to hone his entrepreneurial skills, serving such clients at oceanographer Dr. Jacques Piccard, Grumman Aerospace Corporation and TV entertainer, Art Linkletter.

Taking a well-earned break from my consulting duties, I joined with another Rotary Club here in New Jersey, USA on its annual visit to the Maasai Mara in southeast Kenya, where we spent ten days in July helping a primary school.
