Let’s face it…we’re surrounded by Big. Big government is out of control. Big business is a lot like big government. Big institutions and big organizations representing big interests and big constituencies are fighting in the streets and in the media… especially on cable news.There’s more polarization than in a battery factory in Antarctica.
And then… there’s Big Social Media. What’s going on there, you ask? Well, for one thing… the same thing… over and over again. How many tradeshow or event-related groups are there on LinkedIn? What’s going on in all of those groups? The same people posting the same questions, links, blog posts and more… over and over again… in every group. Thousands of them.
We say… it’s time to take back our industry, live within our means… and that means… Small Social Media. No longer will an elite few make decisions that impact the lives of hundreds of millions, because… there will only be hundreds… thousands at most. Don’t be fooled by the big promises of big social media. You can and you will make a difference!
