Comment by Trisha on April 1, 2008 at 12:38am: Alison, I think it really goes back to the same thing...,it's all about what you do with the leads once you receive them. if a company does not think outside the box AFTER the show, they will not win business from the show. One compay that I'm familiar with had over 300 leads from the 2008 show. Last year, they had 276...won 8 BIG accounts ($500,000 and above new builds)because of the show. But they have an amazing marketing...what they do for the prospects AFTER the show is pretty amazing. Another company that I'm familiary with had 150 leads from the 2007 show and won only 1 client, but it was a $350,000 new build with only 3 shows per year. I think the show is really good but only if you really put a true investment into it. BY the way, I have a lead for you...I'll email it you through Linkedin...don't want everyone to see it.
