We are specialist webcasters, can I help? Cheers, John Robins
Edward,
You started this discussion back in the early part of the month. Any ideas what you want to post for the group to reply to?

We are involved with streaming both audio and video from remote sites as we use our production team which is linked to our satellite upload dish to deliver televised motorsports events via the web to the enthusiast base. We have also used our services to deliver live integrated broadcasts direct from the show floor of specialized trade events. These are typically live interview segments and product promotions.
Hi Ray, do you guys do webcasting as well or would you be interested in teaming up. We often work alongside satellite broadcasters as some clients we work with like Emirates want both.
John,
We can provide a broadcast signal to any IP address. We have up to a four person camera production team with a director and audio specialist. In our outdoor environment we also have the ability to place one wireless camera and audio kit that feeds back to the main control. Our satellite system is a motorized self tracking 1.2 meter dish system that uses GPS to locate and secure a strong signal link.

We also have access to an Accordent Capture Station which can integrate audio, video and presentation content into a single delivery screen which can also be uploaded via our dish or through a high broadband connection. This is perfect for the conference/educational session capture and broadcast scenario.

We have contracts with our own live streaming server farm that can deliver content anywhere in the world.

Please describe your webcasting project needs and the potential location. We got out of the traditional exhibition and event side a number of years ago due to the challenges and cost of a high quality broadband connection within exhibition and meeting facilities. The cost was just too high for the client. We also had numerous challenges with unions fighting over our camera and audio operators.

Obviously, remote international locations would require shipping, transport and customs which could also make our involvement cost prohibitive.

We also have replication equipment for DVD's that can produce individual discs with full color photo quality graphics in just under a minute and a half, all the way up to portable stacks that can produce 900 per hour. Periodically we produce conference session handouts, schedules, exhibitor directories and other content typically handed out during check-in.

Let me know what you have in mind. We are always open to collaboration!
Hi Ray, Sorry, I wasn't being clear in my earlier note. We have live webcasting technology of our own that we offer to live satellite broadcasters. Most of our projects are either in the UK, Midde East or Australia. In fact I am in Sydney now for a conference for one of our clients going live to web this week. We have a global CDN for streaming worldwide, limitless viewer numbers and proprietary player technology that webcasts video and slides side-by-side. We can create players for any requirement i.e. we also create bespoke players for different requirements, eg live text input from viewers for Q&As, Active agendas for multi presentation broadcasting for conferences fr example. The webcasting is one feature of a broader range of streaming solutions we offer that can operate stand alone or as part of a digital multi-media communications network. Sound's like you have what you need for now unless you are curious to find out more about our solutions.
