Having just returned from Intermat 2009 in Paris I was amazed to see the number of Blatant Freebie Hunters - together with their young children, wives and baby buggys arriving on the last afternoon. Yes I am used to the pro-freebie types - obviously need lots of pens and carrier bags - especially as some supermarkets charge for them nowadays :) - but the whole family 'day out' atmosphere was memorable ... shame the show was quiet business wise.
Maybe being able to bring wife / partner and children rather than leaving the family at home results in higher attendances?
Anybody have a view on Family admission to purely B2B shows?
