Help with Saudi Arabia

Has anyone organised a conference/exhibiton in Saudi Arabia or know of anyone who has? I need to find out a bit more about applying for an Emara Letter and any other licences over there. Any help much appreciated. My email address if you're passing this on is liz.holder@dcd-holdings.com

Hi Liz. I've run a load of event's there but it isn't easy. You might want to try Samantha Kane-Macdonald's on Event Crowd. There are others I can put you in touch with as well. If the plan is for you to go to Saudi and/or run the event on your own, this could be difficult as there are all sorts of problems with single women entering the country.

Hi Liz, best solution is hire an event company like Gearhouse-Staging Connections Dubai. They are constantly running big events all across the Kingdom. http://www.gearhouse-arabia.com/

Saudi is not an easy place to do business and a company that knows the ins and outs is essential.

Hi Liz,

Have you got any information about the Emara Letter?
We are a company in Dubai & we do not have any sister companies or partners in Saudi Arabia. Our Client would like to conduct business meetings & seminars in a few hotels in Riyadh. We were asked to get the Emara Letter if we are expecting ladies in our meetings. We have been trying get an idea of the whole process but no good so far.

Kindly guide me through the process of acquiring the Emarah Letter: The documents required, the cost, time period to get the letter in hand & if we could use the same letter for more than one meeting conducted in several hotels in Riyadh. Any information would be really helpful. Thanks
